My Papua New Guinea coffee was very smooth with an interesting after taste, but the banana nut bread was the star of my breakfast in San Diego: it was thick, moist, and only semi-sweet. Yeah! It had a mild banana flavor but it had more flavor and crunch from the roasted walnut pieces. I bought some PNG coffee beans here, and I made a stronger coffee at home to which I added sugar and cream; it was rich with a hint of chocolate. Dos Palmas cafe has cacti and bougainvillea out front, lots of outdoor seating, and the adobe building has a wooden porch. This is a very nice breakfast spot.
